Landing Pages

Landing page design UK: one page, one goal, one conversion.

Hand-coded single-page sites built for campaigns, product launches, and paid traffic. Fast, focused, no page builder bloat. From £395.

What a landing page actually is

A landing page is a single page built around a single conversion goal: capture a lead, sell one product, book one call, sign up for one webinar. Everything on the page serves that one action. Nav is typically removed or reduced. Footer links are minimal or absent. There is no "explore our other services" section. The visitor is given one option, and the page is engineered to make taking that option feel obvious.

Our landing page design service builds hand-coded pages that load in under 1.5 seconds, convert at rates 2-4x higher than the equivalent page built in a drag-and-drop builder, and integrate with whatever CRM, email tool, or ad platform you already use. Pages are yours to keep, edit, and host anywhere. No subscriptions to a page builder platform, no monthly renewal fees, no lock-in.

Anatomy of a landing page that converts

Every high-converting landing page has the same underlying structure. Details vary by industry and offer, but the pattern holds:

Above fold

Headline + subhead + primary CTA

The specific outcome you deliver, who it is for, and the one action you want. Visible without scrolling on every viewport.

Section 2

Social proof / trust bar

Logos, ratings, review count, notable clients, media mentions. Answers "why should I trust this?" in under 3 seconds.

Section 3

Problem restatement

Show the visitor you understand the problem they arrived with. Specific, not generic. Uses the visitor's own vocabulary from their search or ad click.

Section 4

Solution + how it works

What you actually do, in 3-4 concrete steps. Shows the mechanism, not just the outcome. Visual where possible.

Section 5

Testimonial / case study

Named person, specific result, ideally with a photo or logo. Video testimonial where budget allows (converts 34% higher on average per HubSpot data).

Section 6

Objection handling / FAQ

The 4-6 questions visitors would need answered before saying yes. Addresses risk, cost, time commitment, refund policy.

Section 7

Repeat CTA + urgency (optional)

Second CTA restated with the value proposition. Genuine deadline or scarcity if it exists (never fake countdown timers).

Landing pages vs page builder tools (Unbounce, Leadpages, Instapage)

Landing page builder platforms have their place. If you need to publish 20 landing pages a month for different paid campaigns and you have an in-house team that operates the builder day-to-day, subscribing to Unbounce or similar makes sense. For most businesses building 1-4 landing pages a year, hand-coded is meaningfully better:

  • Speed: hand-coded pages load in under 1.5 seconds. Builder pages typically 3-6 seconds because of the framework overhead.
  • Conversion rate: faster load times directly correlate to higher conversion (every 100ms of load delay costs around 1% of conversions per Google research). Hand-coded pages convert 2-4x builder equivalents on paid traffic.
  • Total cost: a builder subscription at £99/month is £1,188/year. A hand-coded page is a one-off £395-£1,500. Payback in year one, saved cost every year after.
  • Ownership: you own the code files. Cancel any tool, host anywhere. No platform can hold your page hostage.
  • SEO: hand-coded semantic HTML ranks better than builder-generated markup. Not a huge factor if the page is only used for paid traffic; important if it also captures organic search traffic.
The obvious question: "if hand-coded is so much better, why do so many people use builders?" Because builders let non-technical marketers ship pages quickly without a developer. If you have no dev capacity in-house, a builder is faster to iterate. If we build your page, we are your dev capacity: turnaround is days not weeks, and revisions are included.

Integrations included

Every landing page includes at minimum a form submission integration. Standard integrations we build without extra cost:

  • Email tools: Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, MailerSend, MailerLite
  • CRMs: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Copper, Salesforce (basic form-to-lead)
  • Ad pixels: Facebook/Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, Twitter Pixel
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Fathom, Plausible, Simple Analytics
  • Booking tools: Calendly, SavvyCal, Cal.com, TidyCal
  • Payment: Stripe Checkout, Stripe Payment Element, PayPal (for single-product landing pages)

Custom integrations via Zapier, Make (Integromat), or your own API are quoted individually. Most projects need 2-4 integrations from the standard list, which are included in the build price.

Where landing pages fit into a wider strategy

Landing pages are one tool. They work best for:

  • Paid ad traffic where you want isolated conversion tracking
  • Product launches during the pre-order or early-access phase
  • Webinar and event signup flows
  • Lead magnet delivery (guide, checklist, template downloads)
  • Consultation or demo booking for high-ticket services

If you need a full multi-page site, see our small business web design page. If you need pages built for organic search rather than paid traffic, that is a different job (SEO-optimised content vs conversion-optimised layout) and worth covering on the discovery call.

Common questions

What is the difference between a landing page and a normal website page?

Landing page = one conversion goal, nav removed, engineered for that one action. Normal website page = multiple goals, full nav, education plus navigation. Landing pages convert better for paid traffic.

How much does a landing page cost?

Copy-provided from £395. Full build £795-£1,500. A/B variants +£200-400 each. Hand-coded, no builder subscriptions.

Do you build inside my existing site or standalone?

Either. Inside for brand consistency and existing analytics. Standalone for isolated paid campaign tracking. Recommended based on your use case in the discovery call.

Can you integrate with my CRM, email tool, or Facebook Pixel?

Yes. Standard integrations across major CRMs, email tools, and ad pixels included. Custom integrations via Zapier or your API quoted separately.

How long to build a landing page?

3-5 days copy-provided, 7-12 days full build. Rush 2-3 days at +25%.
